Students use inquiry skills and knowledge of reptiles to identify why the crested gecko sick and what changes need to be made to his environment to ensure his continued health. They then create and test solutions to improve his health. If the classroom does not have a crested gecko and.or their own crested gecko is not sick, this project can still be carried out through Lesson 3. If it is not possible to test the solutions, see Lesson 4 for suggestions.
