Students will investigate like scientists by engaging with live Madagascar hissing cockroaches to practice scientific observation skills and design and conduct a controlled experiment. They will explore the cockroaches’ behavior and responses to different stimuli, culminating in a class-designed experiment to answer a question about their preferred environment.
