The Pets in the Classroom grant program, like any other organization, would not exist without the generosity of others. That’s why, on December 1, we will be joining people all over the world in celebrating Giving Tuesday, a global day of generosity.
We are so appreciative of all those who make our grant program possible – our partners, sponsors, and private donors…and the many teachers who use our grants to impact the lives of their students! Giving looks different for many people, which is why, as we look toward #GivingTuesday, we ask that you find a way to give that works for you! Here are a few ways you can give to Pets in the Classroom on #GivingTuesday:
- Share our program with your teacher friends!
- Follow us on social media and share the impact that classroom pets can have, especially your personal stories! Make sure to use hashtag #GivingTuesday and #PetsintheClassroom, then tag us so we can share!

- Donate to the program! We would not exist without donations from supporters: https://petsintheclassroom.org/donate/
- Sponsor a teacher: If you know of a specific teacher or school that you would like to provide with a classroom pet, we would like to assist you in making that possible: https://petsintheclassroom.org/sponsor-a-classroom/
- Create a Facebook Fundraiser with Pets in the Classroom as the recipient. Here’s how: https://www.facebook.com/help/356680401435429
