It’s Contest time again! Submit your classroom pet success story for your chance to win $500!
The Pets in the Classroom grant program is kicking off our 2nd annual Success Story Video Contest. Last year, we received some amazing videos sharing how classroom pets are impacting students across the United States and Canada. Once again, we need your enthusiasm and passion to help us spread the word about the fantastic benefits of having pets in your classrooms! We know this year has been different, but we also know that classroom pets are still impacting the lives of students! We’d love to see how your pet:
- Is a welcoming presence as students transition back to the classroom
- Increases engagement in online learning
- Encourages literacy in reluctant readers
- Calms anxious students
- Fosters a breakthrough in a student with disabilities
- Teaches responsibility
- Etc!
Whether in the classroom or through online learning, we want to hear about your “Success Story” involving YOUR classroom pet! Whether it’s in 30 seconds or 3 minutes, let us know the impact your classroom pet is making in the lives of your students!
1st place winner will receive $500. 2nd place winner will receive $250. 3rd place winner will receive $100.
