Pup Prosthetics: Engineering Mobility for Dogs in Need
Students use the engineering design process to design and create a prosthetic leg for a dog that has lost a back leg. They will consider biomechanics, materials, and ethical considerations in their design.
This lesson can be adapted for other pets and for other grades.
